2- Yes. It is surely Jekyll's fault when he kills Carew. It was his decision at first to drink the potion, he has to assume the fact that he did, even though it turned this way (he is not able to put Hyde away anymore).

Other two questions:
Did Utterson become suspicious after discovering Carew's death?
Did he start to believe Hyde was Jekyll?

Something more about me...

I'm a woman with a lot of ambition, sometimes I stay in my own bubble. I have a passion for writing, drawing cartoons and playing music. I love going to heavy metal shows, it gives me adrenaline, makes me feel on top of the world.
Even though I'm living in Lac St-Jean, I lived in Jonquière during eighteen years of my life. I seem to be a really applicated student, even if I love playing guitar and bass in my two bands; a power metal band and a death folk metal band. This is such a huge part of my life.

Life is worth it, not worthless.

Podcasts

The first one is Hey Jude by THE BEATLES. What I found interesting is the fact that the end of the song with no lyrics is as long as the lyrical part. The second one is Live and Let Die by GUNS N'ROSES. The interesting thing is the fact that it is simply a cover of Paul Mc Cartney 's song for the movie James Bond.

2. The first one puts emphasis on metaphores in a really colorful way and the second has a theme that looks like a moral. They were both suitable for this analysis.

3 The subject of the second song is to live your own way,and the theme is more about the others will live their own way, even though you tell them not to, so do the best as you possibly can to make your life better.

Research Project

A. First of all, I already read Dr.Jekyll and Mr. Hyde in High School. I was understanding it better at the second reading though. I prefer the Hyde side of Dr.Jekyll. It shows how people can be mean sometimes.
I like this novel a lot, because Stevenson puts emphasis on descriptions, which helps me be captivated throughout the whole story.
B. My research project was about sciences and technology in the Victorian Era. It is very interesting, but really technical too, it explains how sciences where persued at this time.

Dr.Jekyll & Mr. Hyde

1. Everyone has a good and evil side: I agree with that statement because it somehow shows that nobody in this world is perfect. Everyone hide something they do not like about their personality to be a better person everyday.
2. Everything is done for our own benefit : I absolutely don't agree with this statement. Sometimes we need to help each other, this is simply the way it works in society. We are killing two birds with one stone when we have a job, we earn money and we give a service or material to the whole society.

Edgar Allan Poe

1.I've somehow heard about Edgar Allan Poe, a few years ago. The only one I read though is The Tell-Tale Heart. I liked it a lot because it was full of suspense and a lot of details were given throughout the story.
2. His mom died when he was almost three years old,he didn't have a good relationship with his step-father and he got engaged and married with his cousin, Virginia.
3. The Addams Family is a novel and a movie that I read and watched a several times because it was creepy and sinister. I like those kinds of stories.
4. Horror and scary movies are popular because they're really creepy and frightening. People enjoy being afraid in those circumstances.

Poems of words and freedom...

1. Poetry is expressing feelings and way people deal with emotions. It goes deep inside their mind.
2. I think that poetry helps me express myself without barriers and really makes me say what my mind is truly thinking about

Rainbows and illusions

As the man
climbed over the rainbow
the bottom of

the sky
First the leprechaun
fell

Fast
then the man_______
stepped carefully_____

into the ___fur_ of
the flying
bird

This is just to say...

I have lost
the taste for love
That was in
The box

and which
you were probably
saving
for me

Forgive me
It were pointless
so useless
and so worthless

4. William Carlos Williams (1883-1963) is an american poet also known as a pediatrician. Thank you for letting me use the way you wrote many years ago
