Verbal: I really didn't like the music he's listening to but I commented ; «Hey! That's great stuff»! (Even though, I don't like those things very much, I told him I do.) [Not saying what you really think]






Situational:You lost a friend and find two the other day. (It means that it doesn't matter if you loose a friend today, tomorrow is going to be better.)  [Events turn out better or are different than you thought it would be]





Dramatic: In novels, when the author tells us a possible murderer, we know that it is not the real one, but the police officers in the book don't. (We know who the real murderer is, but people in the book usually don't.)  [People reading the book knows more stuff than the characters]
